2017 AIACCC Home Tour

2017 AIACCC Home Tour

Come join us Sunday, May 21 from 10:00am to 4:30pm for a fun day celebrating local architecture and local homes!

The AIACCC Home Tour celebrates the work of our local architecture, engineering and construction professionals. With the generosity of homeowners who make their homes available, our local architecture-loving public can experience what makes a custom home so special. Meet the design professionals and talented builders who bring homeowner dreams to life. All proceeds benefit local art and architecture education programs and students from kindergarten to college.

Thank you to our Event Sponsor, Taylor & Syfan Consulting Engineers. Taylor & Syfan

The homes in 2017 include:

  • Diablo Residence – Architect: Andrew Goodwin. This sleek, modern home is newly built and showcases the homeowners’ collection of modern European light fixtures. The architect thoughtfully sited the home for natural day-lighting and views of the Irish Hills. Golf-cart shuttles will facilitate access to and from near-by parking on public streets. http://www.andrewgoodwin.us/residential/
  • Wes Ward Home – Architect: Wes Ward. A beautifully crafted mid-century modern home with custom features throughout. The home and its large rear yard overlook the winding Garden Creek. http://www.mctgphotography.com/slo_mid-century_modern
  • SLO Brew Loft – Architect: George Garcia. Perched above the iconic SLO Brew Restaurant and Brew Pub in San Luis Obispo, SLO Brew Lofts are part of the newest mixed use redevelopment efforts in the city’s urban center.  Located within the historic Carissa Building, these beautiful lofts are designed with a modern urban aesthetic as well as a sense of comfort and sophistication.  With incredible views of the surrounding hills and picturesque SLO Creek, these units offer their residents immediate access to dozens of restaurants, shops and galleries, providing a secluded residential experience while still being in the middle of all the downtown action.  http://garciaarchdesign.com/SLO-Brew-Lofts

Perfect for indoor-outdoor entertaining, a very wide opening glass wall connects the living and dining areas to a spacious roof-top deck with amazing views. http://www.garciaarchdesign.com/Borrero-Loft
