2022 Design Award Submissions

The AIA California Central Coast Chapter and Air Vol Block would like to announce the Call for Entries for the 2022 AIA CCC Design Awards. This is an opportunity to display your talents and accomplishments in celebration of design.The Design Awards is an event that occurs every two years for architects and consultants to submit their most esteemed projects for review and critique as well as public recognition. Please join us in showcasing and recognizing local talent in architecture and allied disciplines here on the Central Coast.  

AIR VOL BLOCK, INC. of San Luis Obispo, California is a manufacturer of quality concrete masonry units, Allan Block mortarless retaining wall systems, and interlocking concrete pavers. Air Vol Block also manufactures bagged dry-mix products such as Quikrete concrete mix, Mason Mix Mortar, and assorted other sacked products. To round out their product offerings, they fabricate reinforcing steel and sell a wide variety of building materials including Cultured Stone, and several varieties of clay bricks. 

Cost for AIA members and Affiliates is $100 for the first submission and $50 for each subsequent submission.

Cost for non AIA members is $175 for the first submission and $75 for each subsequent submission.

Due to restrictions and uncertainty around the Coronavirus, the Board of Directors of the AIA CCC has elected to reduce fees this year and include honoring winners of the Design Awards through local publication including SLO Life Magazine and Living Lavishly Magazine. Further recognition will be reserved for a later time when in-person meetings are allowed again.
